NBA Playoffs' MVP?

NBA 2021: Possible MVPs of the conference playoffs

When the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks clash in the NBA Finals, the finals are coming to an end.

For the Suns, Chris Paul sealed the fate of the Los Angeles Clippers with 41 points in the 6th game. They fought bravely in the defeat. Paul will participate in the finals for the first time in his 16-year NBA career. He scored 16 points in 24 shots, with 8 assists and 4 rebounds, which is impressive.

The Clippers bowed their heads because this ruthless season marked the longest playoff game in franchise history. Without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George averaged 41 minutes per game and scored 28 consecutive points.

The Bucks lost Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 4 due to a knee injury and saw Chris Middleton and Jue Holiday come on stage to ensure a consecutive victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The two averaged 55 points per game in the Bucks’ last two games, winning both games, ensuring that the team returned to the NBA Finals for the first time since losing to the Boston Celtics in seven games in 1974.

So, who could be the possible MVP of NBA Playoffs?

When players are not on the court, you usually feel their value. From watching game that night on head coach Monty Williams’ FaceTime to further studying the possible information about adjustments his brother CJ might have in the first game, to the team’s Facetime a few seconds after the end of the game time. In the last call, Paul was an active participant in the team.

Middleton was in his prime when the Bucks needed him most in the conference finals. Middleton played a familiar role in the final quarter of the third game. Wearing a mask or not wearing a mask does not seem to prevent Booker from turning his reputation from an empty statistic into an indicator that can help his team enter the NBA Finals.

Paul George’s playoffs were overwhelming because no one can sincerely make playoff jokes on him. George showed personal perseverance in the game against the Suns because he assumed the burden of Kawhi Leonard’s absence to maintain the team’s chances of reaching the finals. Although Giannis supported his teammate from the bench due to a knee injury in the second half of Game 4 when the Bucks won Game 5 and Game 6 and entered the NBA Finals, Milwaukee will not have a winning streak without him.
