After Tamil Nadu and Bengal, Delhi’s tableau likely to be rejected in Republic day parade

The Republic Day march is probably not going to have a scene from Delhi, authorities sources informed on Monday, without refering to any explanation.
Nonetheless, there is no word from the Delhi government on the matter yet.

“There will be no scene from Delhi in the Republic Day Parade 2022. The explanation isn’t known,” an authority said. This year, the topic for the scene was ‘Delhi-City of Hopes’. In 2020 there was no scene of Delhi in the Republic Day march.

Last year, Delhi’s scene had partaken in the motorcade on Rajpath where the public authority showed its Chandni Chowk Redevelopment model to depict the blend of the building legacy of the Walled City of Shahjahanabad with current foundation.

An aggregate of 56 proposition had come from states and focal services, out of which 21 were shortlisted, and a comparative course of choice is embraced each year. Last week, the Center dismissed proposition of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal for the R-Day tableaux.
