Barty has not taken a break from the sport very the first time. Around 11 years ago, when she won the Wimbledon junior title at the age of 15, she left the tour for nearly two years in 2014 due to burnout, rather than she had a strong professional career. At that time, she claimed that she was overwhelmed by the pressure and travel required.
Instead of that, she also played professional cricket back home in Australia, then she suddenly picked up a racket and returned to tennis.
If we talk about Barty’s personal life, her engagement with trainee golf professional Garry Kissick was announced in November. The pair dated each other for around five years, and then they decided to hitch for life.
